Department OverviewThe primary mission of the Director of Revenue and GTM Operations is to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency to drive accelerated revenue growth. They serve as the backbone of the sales organization, ensuring our frontline teams are equipped with the insights and tools necessary to succeed in a competitive global landscape.
Job Description
The Director of Revenue and GTM Operations provides executive-level strategic support to the International VS&A (Video Security & Access) frontline Sales team. By managing and streamlining the non-selling activities of the sales process, this leader’s primary target is to reduce friction in the sales cycle, enabling our sales representatives to maximize their "selling time" and focus on customer-facing missions.
This leader and their team are the architects of the sales engine, focused on four strategic pillars:
Performance & Data: Precision reporting, forecasting, and data-driven business intelligence.
Operations & Process: Optimization of quotas, compensation, and cross-functional alignment.
Technology & Tools: Ownership of the CRM ecosystem, Automation, and Tableau integration.
Sales Journey & GTM Enablement: Scalable practices, sales planning, and onboarding excellence.
Strategic Execution: Collaborate with senior executives to define and execute the overall sales strategy, including revenue projections, target market identification, and long-term sales goals.
Performance Intelligence: Lead the creation of executive-level dashboards and KPIs to track real-time performance, win/loss ratios, and conversion metrics, identifying white-space opportunities for growth.
Forecasting Leadership: Oversee the global sales forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring rigorous alignment between regional sales outputs and corporate financial targets.
Operational Optimization: Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks to improve the "ease of doing business" for internal teams and our global channel partners.
Technology Ecosystem: Manage and optimize the Salesforce (SF.com) environment to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and pipeline visibility.
Incentive & Compensation: Streamline sales processes, including the management of quotas and incentive plans to drive high-performance behaviors.
GTM Enablement: Establish scalable practices for sales planning and onboarding, providing strategic training to teams on advanced tools and global best practices.
Market Leadership: Conduct competitive market research to inform go-to-market strategies and maintain MSI’s dominant position in the security industry.
Basic Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Product Management, or a technical field is required; Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in operations management, specifically within an international enterprise technology or SaaS environment.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and influence large virtual teams across diverse cultures and matrixed organizations.
Analytical Rigor: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable global sales strategies.
Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of sales profitability, margins, and complex deal structures.
Tech Stack Expertise: Expert-level skills in Salesforce.com, Tableau, and advanced automation software.
Consensus Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate and influence at the executive level.
Channel Strategy: Deep knowledge of channel distribution strategy and partner programs.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to support a global business across multiple time zones.
Willingness to travel internationally as required by the business.
