Lead Dow’s Coatings and Performance Monomers sales portfolio across Brazil and the South Region. Own revenue, volume, and margin performance while managing sales and support teams. Dow has a great opportunity to lead our Coatings and Performance Monomers portfolio as a Senior Sales Leader for Brazil and South Region. Located in São Paulo, BRA, we look for an inclusive leader, who understands motivations and ambitions of the team, and values their impact on a customer-centric, innovative, and collaborative environment. In a competitive market, the ideal candidate should have a strategic, commercial mindset, focus on customer experience and relationship, while maintaining a high-level of employee experience within own team. Main focus of this position will be architectural and industrial coatings markets, as paper and road markings.  

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Influences industry programs to align with Dow's priorities to grow the business.

  • Accountable for revenue, volume and margin results in Brazil and South Region for the business, while managing the sales and support team.

  • Responsible for keeping the operational discipline in sales with the use of commercial tools such as: CRM, Leads and Opportunities Management, etc.

  • Ensure EH&S guidelines are followed by the sales team, especially due to the use of company cars.

  • Promote an inclusive and ethical environment, while being the leadership example for the team and customers.

  • Interact with key customers and distributors in the region, ensuring alignment and growth.

  • Manage distribution channels and priorities through the work of the team.

  • Drive growth and demand generation thru blueprint strategic planning & implementation.

  • Support digital acceleration initiatives.

  • Drive transformation culture into sales organization.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing and/or Sales working in the chemical and/or coatings industry.

  • Fluent Portuguese in verbal and written communications. 

  • Advanced English in verbal and written communications.

  • Advanced Spanish in verbal and written communications

  • Influence in different levels of the organization.

  • Collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

  • Commercial and business acumen.

  • People development and empowerment.

  • Ownership and capacity to work with multiple priorities.

  • Hunter attitude, go beyond traditional markets to pursue new growth opportunities.

Your preferred qualifications include 

  • Experience on architectural/industrial paints, adhesives and paper markets.

  • Previous experience in leading sales team, marketing or product.
