At Johnson Controls Global Marine & Offshore, our branch operates on a global scale, supported by a dedicated service team across 10 locations. We specialize in delivering HVAC, Fire Protection, and Refrigeration solutions tailored for a diverse range of applications, including Cruise, Offshore, Luxury & Passenger vessels, Navy, LNG, and fishing vessels.
As a vital member of our sales team based in Turkey, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with customers in the Turkish market.
How You Will Do It
As the Senior Sales Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to identify and cultivate new customer relationships within the Marine sector for our products and aftersales services. This includes maintenance services, health checks, parts, long-term contracts, and retrofit solutions for HVAC and Refrigeration products. You will drive the implementation of your Go-To-Market strategy in existing markets while utilizing advanced enterprise tools and value-selling concepts to achieve targeted growth. By analyzing key findings, you will continuously refine your sales strategy to ensure success. Additionally, you will ensure the effective use of company systems, tools, pricing policies, and sales processes.
Leveraging our market intelligence and industry networking tools, you will combine field activities with strategic conversations to capitalize on available opportunities. Salesforce.com will serve as your primary CRM tool, while our Marketing function will support you with external communications and tailored customer campaigns to enhance your growth strategy.
What We Look ForRequired
- Proven experience in developing new business through strong client relationships and proactive planning.
- Field sales experience with a deep understanding of relationship selling, planning, business development, opportunity identification, and pipeline management.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com CRM application and experience in a large organization with common matrix structures.
- A genuine passion for New Business Development and Lead Generation.
- A track record of achieving results and successfully closing deals.
- Strong stakeholder analysis skills, enabling the identification and cultivation of relationships with key decision-makers and customers at all levels.
- Excellent spoken and written proficiency in both English and Turkish.
Preferred
- Experience in selling technical service solutions for HVAC/Refrigeration systems within the Marine market.
- Experience working with major shipyards and owners.
