As a Senior Sales Associate, your primary role is to drive sales growth and profitability within your assigned region. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies and building and maintaining relationships with key customers. Your focus will be on maximizing revenue, expanding customer footprint, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to identify market trends, assess competitive threats, and execute plans to capitalise on opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance to achieve or exceed revenue and growth
targets within the region.
- Manage and grow a defined customer portfolio, ensuring retention
and expansion opportunities are maximised.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within both
existing and prospective customers.
- Increase utilisation of existing and new corridors, driving
customer adoption and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
and channel partners.
- Lead commercial engagements, including negotiations, pricing
discussions, and contract renewals.
- Analyse sales data, customer trends, and market dynamics to inform
decision-making.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and performance
reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, product, finance) to
ensure effective service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor
competitor activity and proactively respond to market opportunities.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- National Senior Certificate
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Management,
Logistics, or related field (preferred)
- Additional courses in relevant fields will
be advantageous
- Valid
Driver’s License
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales
specifically B2B selling (similar industry preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding
sales targets
- Experience in logistics, transport, or
related industries (advantageous)
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical ability with experience
interpreting sales data and market trends
- Proficiency
in CRM systems and sales reporting tools
