Details 

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7.00am - 4.30pm, and every other Saturday from 8.00am - 12.00pm.


What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers to identify current and future needs, with particular focus on onboarding new accounts
  • Provide expert advice and tailored solutions With particular attention to cross-selling products and services such as Project Estimator and Tool Hire
  • Consistently deliver quick and responsive service by providing prompt quotes and proactively following up on leads to drive sales conversions
  • Instigate and support business initiatives, promotions and campaigns to increase sales, margin & service, including cold calling lapsed or potential customers to generate new business
  • Liaise and build strong relationships with external sales team to deepen understanding of local market and customer needs
  • Take full accountability for every sale from start to finish, taking every opportunity to exceed expectations within the customer journey understand our approach to pricing and seek out ways to maximise margin in a credible way 
  • Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs and support the wider branch team on more complex queries and solutions
  • Foster and maintain constructive and collaborative relationships with suppliers, identifying and maximising on beneficial trading opportunities
  • Be confident in using our systems to ensure transactions and processes, including key admin activities, are carried out with high degree of accuracy and CRM systems are kept accurate and up to date
  • Maximise our technology solutions to deliver great levels of communication and service
  • Develop skills so you can multi-task and be deployed across all areas of the branch, carrying out reasonable activities & providing excellent branch standards as requested
  • Adhere to all company practice and policy. especially in relation to health and safety, compliance and business controls
