The Role

About the job:

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager to join us in São Paulo, Brazil.

In this role, you will have a key focus on both retaining and growing corporate accounts, strong in business development and customer engagement, focus on positioning and cross-selling Red Hat’s offerings and help our customers and partners make business using Red Hat services and solutions.

As a Senior Sales Account Manager, you'll need to have an excellent combination of customer-facing sales skills and deep technical knowledge of enterprise software. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while helping grow Red Hat's business.

What you will do:

- Translate Red Hat’s sales strategy into a relevant account-level strategy for each customer

- Deliver on the account strategy to increase performance and customer success in key accounts, retaining and growing bookings through strategic account planning

- Apply knowledge of use cases and Red Hat’s strategic offering value proposition to identify and deliver opportunities to increase upsell, cross-sell, and renewals across the Red Hat portfolio while increasing presence within accounts

- Coordinate solutions architects, specialist teams, the customer success team, and industry experts to align Red Hat’s use cases with customer needs, guiding end-to-end sales to develop solutions that deliver business value

- Cultivate relationships across customer organizations to position Red Hat as a strategic partner to their business

- Gain trust of senior IT and business executives in key accounts and create long-term partnerships with customers and partners

- Engage partners, where appropriate, to strengthen Red Hat’s customer value proposition

What you will bring:

- 8+ years of field sales experience with proven record results including working closely with customers to produce solutions that exceed their business expectations

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders in a matrix organization and increase accountability within the account team

- Excellent understanding of customer businesses, industry trends, competitive landscape, and Red Hat’s differentiators and value proposition

- Strategic orientation and value skills to position and sell solutions to meet customer needs and build business cases around ROI and total cost of ownership (TCO)

- Ability to articulate the hybrid cloud story, the value of Red Hat’s solutions, and Red Hat’s differentiation

- Ability to cultivate long-term relationships and develop internal advocates across the customer organization, including software and related business teams and roles

- Proven experience selling complex software solutions to large organizations within the region and to multiple decision makers

- Advanced English Level
