What Will You Contribute?

As a Senior Sales & Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving net new business acquisition while managing and growing relationships within an assigned portfolio of accounts or territory. This hybrid role combines new client acquisition with account management to maximize client retention and revenue growth. Acting as a trusted advisor for Finastra solutions, you will develop deep client insights, align our offerings to their strategic priorities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional value and meet performance objectives.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
  • New Business Acquisition
    • Identify, prospect, and qualify new opportunities through cold calling, networking, and inbound leads.
    • Build and manage a robust pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Account Management & Growth
    • Develop and execute strategic account plans for named accounts to drive continued investment and expansion.
    • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Finastra’s product portfolio.
  • Client Engagement
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across business and IT domains.
    • Conduct regular business reviews to align Finastra solutions with client initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including Solution Consultants and senior leadership—to advance sales pursuits and ensure client satisfaction.
    • Act as the escalation point for client issues, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and account documentation in CRM systems.
    • Provide monthly status updates and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Finastra’s evolving solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience
    • 7+ years of progressive experience in consultative sales and account management.
    • Core & Digital Banking solution sales experience strongly preferred
    • Proven success in managing multiple accounts and achieving/exceeding quotas.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools for pipeline management and account planning.
  • Skills
    • Strong ability to build credible, influential relationships with senior executives.
    • Expertise in developing compelling value propositions and presenting complex solutions.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to navigate financial institutions, understand business drivers, and translate them into actionable opportunities.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and issue-resolution capabilities.
    • Self-directed, client-focused, and highly motivated.
  • Education

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
