About the Role

At ARX Robotics, safety is not a checkbox — it is a foundation. As our Safety Release Engineer, you will own the end-to-end safety release process for our autonomous ground systems, ensuring that every product, software update, and hardware revision we ship meets the highest functional safety standards.

You will sit at the intersection of engineering, quality, and compliance, working closely with systems engineers, software developers, validation teams, and suppliers to make sure our platforms are safe, compliant, and ready to operate in some of the most demanding environments in the world.

What You'll Build
  • A robust safety release process for hardware, software, and system updates across the full development lifecycle
  • Compliance frameworks aligned with functional safety standards including ISO 26262, ASPICE, and applicable cybersecurity regulations
  • Core safety documentation — Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments (HARA), Safety Cases, DFMEA and PFMEA — maintained to a high standard
  • Clear traceability of safety requirements throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through to post-release
  • Structured processes for tracking and resolving safety-related issues and release blockers before they impact timelines
  • Strong supplier and cross-functional alignment to ensure technical compliance across all release touchpoints
  • Audit-ready documentation and configuration management practices that hold up under regulatory scrutiny
  • Launch readiness processes that give teams confidence when a product goes into the field
What You Bring
  • A Master's degree in Systems, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
  • 10+ years of experience in safety engineering or systems engineering, ideally in safety-critical environments
  • Hands-on experience with complex systems where the margin for error is low and precision is non-negotiable
  • Deep knowledge of systems lifecycle management, verification and validation, and risk assessment methodologies
  • A collaborative approach to working across engineering disciplines — you build bridges between teams as naturally as you build processes
  • The ability to lead safety reviews, audits, and regulatory assessments with clarity and confidence
  • A mindset that balances rigorous standards with pragmatic problem-solving to keep programs on track

Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
