Your role
As an RTR Senior Accountant within our GBS Finance organization, you will be a key contributor to the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and compliance activities for our international entities. Beyond core Record-to-Report responsibilities, you will act as a subject matter expert, support process improvements, and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
In your daily work you will be responsible for:
coordinating month-end and year-end closing activities and ensuring timely delivery of reporting requirements
preparing and processing journal entries, including accruals, provisions and complex accounting adjustments
reconciling general ledger accounts and investigating complex accounting issues
performing fixed assets accounting, payroll accounting and VAT-related activities
executing standard RTR processes including FX valuation, cost allocation, depreciation and reclassifications
preparing bridge files and supporting variance analysis between reporting periods
preparing financial statements for small holding companies, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements
coordinating and submitting statistical surveys and regulatory reporting
supporting and coordinating internal and external audit activities, including preparation of documentation and explanations
leading or participating in projects focused on process optimization, standardization and automation

Your background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are:
3+ years of professional experience in finance and accounting
hands-on General Ledger / RTR experience
university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
experience with financial statement preparation, statutory reporting or audit support would be a strong advantage
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
English language proficiency
advanced Excel skills
SAP/Oracle knowledge is an advantage
ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and take ownership of complex topics
