What You'll Do
- AR Operations:
- Oversee the full AR cycle, including Customer onboarding, Invoicing, Collections, Cash Application and Revenue Accounting.
- Ensure timely and accurate AR subledger reconciliation and analysis
- Assist in the month-end close process, including Revenue reconciliations and reporting
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and support other AR Leads in prioritizing tasks and managing the team’s daily workloads.
- Coach and develop team members, ensuring consistent adherence to Emma policies and KPIs.
- Hire, Build and Develop a stronger team by providing team member’s empowerment, foster inclusiveness and succession planning
- Process & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and country regulations.
- Lead process improvement for Revenue Accounting, Billing, Collection, Cash Application and Refunds by maximizing efficiency with automation projects, providing process documentation to establish accountabilities and reduce out of process postings.
- Assist the internal and external audits by coordinating with different teams to collect necessary support, such as PODs, invoices, contracts, reconciliations, and other supporting documentation and ensure timely submission of all deliverables.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Provide regular updates to Finance leadership on key AR D2C metrics (e.g. AR Aging and Matching)
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex AR D2C issues (People and Operations)
Who We're Looking For
- Inspiring leader who believes that accounting can have an essential and long-term impact on our business success
- Strategic and creative thinker, able to manage stakeholders and competing priorities
- At least 7+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Revenue Accounting across all levels (industry, audit, etc.)
- Have led and developed a team
- Profound knowledge in IFRS accounting - BSc. /MSc. / MBA in related fields. CPA is a plus.
- Experience in data- and ERP projects (migration, etc.)
- Fluent in English - excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong hands-on mentality, pragmatism, and ability to convince rather than push through change internally as well as externally. You are an entrepreneur within the finance field
