- Review contracts, identify revenue recognition issues, and ensure compliance with revenue standards and company policies
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses pertaining to revenue month-end close. Identify and resolve inefficiencies within the financial close process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements within the quote-to-cash cycle
- Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation relating to revenue, deferred revenue and AR transactions
- Act as a subject matter expert on revenue recognition topics. Collaborate with sales, deal desk, and legal to ensure alignment and compliance on customer contracts
- Ad-hoc analyses and projects pertaining to sales, billing, and revenue reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of experience with revenue recognition
- Strong understanding of ASC 606, preferably within Software/SaaS industry
- Ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets in Excel; SQL experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate cross functionally with other departments
- Experience with Salesforce. Netsuite experience is a plus

The reasonably estimated salary range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations. The range for this role is $96,800 to $121,000. Final compensation and total package components will be based on individual factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
