Job DescriptionThe Market Insights Senior Research Lead is a team leader within the Market Insights team, which is the insights and research Center of Excellence of AGS. The Market Insights team is responsible for providing actionable insights and market and competitor intelligence reports that enable our RPO teams to build tactical sourcing strategies, increase candidate quality, and become true talent advisors.
The Senior Research Lead is a people manager, a clear communicator, and a data expert. He/she is a strategic thinker that uses research and analytics to uncover insights that would address the client’s recruitment challenges, as well as capture talent market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the quality of Market Insights deliverables by conducting quality reviews on reports produced by the team’s research analysts on a regular basis
- Provides guidance in the creation of standard and complex reports delivered by the Market Insights team
- Oversees and manages the performance, delivery, load, and workflow of Market Insights research analysts
- Monitors and facilitates the performance and development of research analysts
- Serves as adjunct analyst to create standard and complex reports when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications Research, Statistics, Economics, HR, or any related course
- At least 4-6 years of relevant experience in market research, market and competitive intelligence, talent intelligence, and/or people analytics, including at least some exposure to people management
- Knowledge and experience in designing, creating, and executing short and long-term research projects
- Working knowledge and experience with basic human resource disciplines
- Basic principles of managing projects and project timelines
- Experience in data manipulation and transformation, data visualization, storytelling, and transforming data into actionable insights
- Familiar in using different qualitative and quantitative research databases and tools
- Internet-savvy and can perform advanced deep web searches; navigate labor market statistics websites, and other reliable sources of information
- Clear understanding of the processes involved, as well as adhere to the ethics of market research and competitive intelligence
- Excellent English communications skills (written & verbal), with strong attention to details to present complex topics in a clear and concise manner; knowledge or fluency in another foreign language would be a plus
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be amenable with dayshift schedule and hybrid work setup (office is based in Ortigas Pasig area)
