As a Senior Release & DevOps Engineer, you will lead the setup, maintenance, and optimization of our enterprise release processes across multiple Business applications (SaaS systems). This includes defining CI/CD best practices, managing build and deployment pipelines, automating operational workflows, and ensuring robust governance for release management.
You will work closely with application, QA, and infrastructure teams to drive continuous integration, delivery, and deployment strategies. The ideal candidate should have prior hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps and deep expertise in automation tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and AWS.
This position is based in our Pune, India office, and the candidate should be open to working from the office as per company policy.
Primary Skills:
- Strong experience with Salesforce CI/CD, including tools such as Git, Salesforce CLI (sf/sfdx), Opsera, or Jenkins. Proficient with SF metadata APIs.
- Proficiency in Jenkins – pipeline configuration, Groovy scripting, job orchestration, and integration with Salesforce, Bitbucket and Jira cloud services.
- Basic understanding with Docker, container orchestration, and environment provisioning.
- Expert in shell scripting (Bash, Linux) and familiarity with Python or Groovy for automation.
- Exposure to AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CodePipeline, etc.) for deployment and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of SaaS system release processes (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Dell Boomi).
- Version control management using Git/Bitbucket and branching strategies for multi-environment deployments.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and release management best practices.
- Solid knowledge of build and release governance, including rollback, change management, and approval workflows.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across distributed systems and cloud environments.
Nice to Have:
- AWS Certification (Developer or DevOps Engineer – Associate/Professional).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or container orchestration tools.
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and Jira automation.
- Experience integrating CI/CD with test automation tools for regression and performance validation.
- Basic understanding of data migration and integration workflows between CRM and ERP systems.
- Experience with code quality, security scanning, and compliance tools (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx, or OWASP).
