Senior Recruiter
Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Job Type: Full-time, in-office
Salary: $85,000 per year plus 10% annual incentive opportunity
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring across a wide range of roles, from high-volume production positions to technical and professional roles, including engineering.
This role goes beyond recruiting. You will also manage agency partnerships, own the onboarding experience through the first 90 days, and ensure compliance across the hiring process. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes to build, improve, and drive results.
What You’ll Do
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Lead recruiting across hourly, professional, and technical roles
- Partner with hiring managers to define needs and set hiring strategies
- Proactively source candidates through outreach, networking, and pipeline building
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates for skills and fit
- Manage the full interview process, including feedback and offer negotiation
- Train hiring managers on effective interviewing and build consistent hiring practices
Agency and External Partnerships
- Manage relationships with recruiting agencies and search firms
- Recommend when to use agencies for specialized or hard-to-fill roles
- Track agency performance, including quality, speed, and candidate experience
Onboarding and New Hire Experience
- Own onboarding from offer acceptance through the first 90 days
- Manage preboarding activities such as background checks and documentation
- Partner with leaders to ensure structured onboarding plans
- Track and improve new hire retention, engagement, and ramp-up time
Compliance and Process Ownership
- Own recruiting and onboarding compliance processes
- Manage I-9 verification, background checks, and employee recordkeeping
- Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Stay current on employment laws and update practices as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across both hourly and professional roles
- Experience managing onboarding programs with measurable outcomes
- Strong understanding of employment laws and hiring compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Paycom or similar systems
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar)
- Experience managing agency partners
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, or operational environments
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state teams

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience managing onboarding programs with measurable outcomes
- Demonstrated experience managing HR compliance across the employee lifecycle
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and multi-state employment laws and regulations
- Direct experience with Paycom, including recruiting, onboarding, and compliance workflows
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification and AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) certification
- Experience managing external recruiting agencies or search partners
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-heavy environments
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state workforces
