- Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of disaster recovery plans, frameworks, templates, and governance processes.
- Partner with technology and business teams to ensure recovery strategies are documented, tested, and aligned to business requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee disaster recovery testing exercises, ensuring activities are executed according to plan and outcomes are documented and communicated.
- Review recovery plans and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with internal governance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor on disaster recovery readiness, helping stakeholders understand and implement effective recovery strategies.
- Support organizational response and recovery efforts during business disruptions and disaster events.
- Monitor recovery testing schedules, track remediation activities, and drive continuous improvement across recovery capabilities.
- Knowledge and experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning methodologies, frameworks, and testing practices.
- Experience leading or coordinating enterprise-wide disaster recovery exercises and recovery planning initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Disaster Recovery Planner (DRP), CBCP, or equivalent business continuity/disaster recovery certification.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as financial services, payments, banking, or technology.
- Familiarity with operational resilience frameworks, risk management practices, and regulatory expectations.
- Experience facilitating executive-level recovery exercises and crisis simulations.
