Senior React Native Developer

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, with strong hands-on experience in React Native.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Expo and Expo Router.
• Proven experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs.
• Experience implementing form validation and complex user input flows.
• Experience implementing authentication flows, including OTP and/or MFA.
• Experience working with WebViews, preferably in payment-related flows.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with native mobile build tools such as Xcode and Gradle/Android Studio.
• Experience working with Git and collaborative software development practices.
• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Experience with payment integrations, account management, or autopay functionality is desirable.
• Experience developing and supporting applications across iOS and Android is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining user-facing features using React Native, Expo, Expo Router, and TypeScript.
• Supporting integration migration across the active screen set.
• Implementing authentication flows, including OTP/MFA, when applicable.
• Developing full account management functionality, including create, read, and update capabilities.
• Integrating payment methods and autopay functionality.
• Implementing and maintaining WebView-based payment flows and third-party integrations.
• Removing or suppressing features according to product and business requirements.
• Implementing support channel redirects within the application.
• Integrating mobile applications with backend services through REST APIs.
• Implementing robust form validation and handling loading, error, and edge-case states.
• Writing and maintaining unit tests for authored code.
• Optimizing components for performance across a wide range of mobile devices.
• Collaborating with developers, QA, product, design, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
• Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with internal teams and customers/partners.
• Being responsible, organized, and goal-oriented while meeting project objectives and delivery timelines.
