RAN Software & Compute Platforms Engineering (RCE) is responsible for delivering Ericsson's Radio Access Network (RAN) software and compute portfolio end-to-end.

What you will do
- Work within a DevOps-oriented team with a strong software engineering focus, including Java-based development to support and evolve CI solutions
- Drive GitLab migration initiatives, supporting the transition towards modern and scalable CI environments
- Lead pipeline migration efforts, ensuring reliability and continuity during transformation phases
- Contribute to modernization initiatives by improving existing tools, systems, and ways of working
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable smooth adoption of new solutions and processes
What you will bring
- 3+ years of experience in Java development (primary focus), with solid understanding of backend systems and build processes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and platforms such as GitLab, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
- Practical knowledge of scripting and automation, especially Bash scripting
- Experience working with microservices architecture and modern software development practices
Nice to have
- Deep RAN domain knowledge is beneficial but not required; ability to quickly learn domain specifics.
- Familiarity with Python or Ansible and prior exposure to Perl is a plus
- Exposure to languages and tools like Scala, Angular (TypeScript), or Groovy is considered an advantage
