About the Role
This is a position in Quality Assurance responsible for leading the development and execution of performance and automation testing solutions. This position works with management to apply automation strategy and to plan and execute effective and efficient performance and automation testing to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high-quality software products and/or data.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute automation, manual, API, functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scenarios, while configuring, administering, and optimizing testing tools and environments.
Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, QA teams, and other stakeholders to plan, execute, and validate testing activities aligned with business and product requirements.
Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, document findings, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality and performance issues.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes, automation frameworks, methodologies, and overall QA efficiency.
Research, evaluate, and implement testing tools, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to improve testing capabilities and product quality.
Conduct project quality reviews, maintain testing documentation, metrics, defect tracking, audit records, and ensure compliance with quality standards and governance requirements.
Support organizational goals by adapting to changing priorities, collaborating across teams, mentoring where needed, and contributing to strategic quality assurance initiatives.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with 7+ years of Quality Test Engineering experience.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), process improvement, and software testing best practices.
Subject Matter Expertise in Automation Testing (Behave Framework), Manual Testing, API Testing, Functional Testing, and Regression Testing.
Hands-on experience in designing and developing end-to-end automated test scenarios and executing complex automation and performance testing.
Experience with testing tool administration, environment configuration, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test reporting.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate tools, identify improvement opportunities, and implement innovative testing solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Basic understanding of budget considerations, industry trends, quality metrics, compliance requirements, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
