Position ObjectiveEnsure the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements, while managing the Metrology Laboratory to guarantee the reliability of measuring equipment, calibration traceability, and compliance with product dimensional requirements.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949.
- Coordinate internal audits, certification audits, and customer audits.
- Follow up on corrective actions, preventive actions, and improvement opportunities.
- Manage document control and quality system records.
- Ensure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs).
- Coordinate the update of procedures, work instructions, and standards.
- Manage the annual internal audit and Layered Process Audit (LPA) programs.
- Lead continuous improvement projects related to the Quality Management System.
- Manage the Metrology Laboratory.
- Ensure internal and external calibration of all measuring equipment.
- Guarantee traceability of measurement standards in accordance with national and international standards.
- Manage the master calibration program.
- Evaluate new measurement equipment and validate its capability.
- Perform MSA studies (GR&R, bias, linearity, and stability).
- Provide technical support to Engineering, Production, and Quality teams on dimensional-related matters.
- Participate in APQP, PPAP, and new project launches when metrology support is required.
- Coordinate containment actions and investigations related to measurement issues.
- Generate Quality System and Metrology Laboratory performance indicators.
- Train personnel on metrology and Quality Management System topics.

- Minimum of five years of experience in Quality Management Systems within the automotive industry.
