Job Overview:
The Senior Quality Manager will lead and manage quality assurance and quality control initiatives for Primoris Energy Services, ensuring adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results across energy projects.
Responsibilities:**
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards for energy services projects.
* Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
* Oversee the development and implementation of project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and inspection test plans (ITPs).
* Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards, procedures, and contractual requirements.
* Identify, investigate, and resolve non-conformances, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Collaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to integrate quality considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Review and approve project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and vendor submissions, for quality requirements.
* Develop and deliver quality training programs for project personnel.
* Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to senior leadership.
* Represent Primoris Energy Services in client meetings and regulatory inspections concerning quality matters.
* Stay abreast of new industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality management for the energy sector.
Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management within the energy sector (oil & gas, power generation, renewables).
* Proven experience leading and managing quality teams on large-scale energy projects.
* Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent certification preferred.
* Thorough understanding and experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
* Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, AWS, NEC).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to travel to project sites as required.
* Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement methodologies.
