Job Description🚀 The Job Mission
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will drive quality excellence across client projects, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality requirements in the nuclear sector. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high standards of safety, efficiency, and compliance.
⚡️ Key responsibilities include:
- ⚡️ Ensuring client and supply-chain compliance with quality requirements through robust oversight and auditing.
- ⚡️ Managing Manufacturing Inspection & Test Plans and Life-Time Quality Records.
- ⚡️ Leading quality surveillance activities at client and subcontractor sites across the UK and internationally.
- ⚡️ Facilitating non-conformance resolution and conducting root cause analyses.
- ⚡️ Supporting risk and opportunity reviews while embedding lessons learned.
- ⚡️ Leading supplier and internal audits to maintain quality benchmarks.
- ⚡️ Analyzing quality data to inform project management decisions effectively.
- ⚡️ Preparing comprehensive quality reports for stakeholders.
🛠 Essential Skills and Qualifications
- 🛠 Experience in nuclear or regulated sectors with expertise in quality management.
- 🛠 Knowledge of ISO 9001, GS-R-3, and relevant standards.
- 🛠 Process mapping experience.
- 🛠 IRCA Registered Lead Auditor qualification.
- 🛠 Strong understanding of quality tools (e.g., SPC, Histograms).
✔️ Desired Skills
- ✔️ Practitioner Grade CQI membership or equivalent.
- ✔️ Engineering HNC/Diploma or apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
- ✔️ NDT qualifications (e.g., Level II/III in Radiography, Ultrasonics).
- ✔️ Multilingual abilities, especially French.
- ✔️ CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector certification.
