Primary Responsibilities:
- Working as an automation test engineer and lead for a JAVA application
- Developed tools and solutions from scratch to implementation for business
- Execute functional, Automation, Data base and API testing as per Project needs
- Develop Automation test scripts using different type of frameworks
- Enhance Automation Frameworks as per the design needs
- Independently troubleshoot coding issues and solve technical problems from the roots
- Setup continuous integration and continuous testing system like Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and Docker
- Deliver software within an Agile (scrum) environment
- Assist in sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis and review
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan test schedules, strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
- Create, maintain and execute test plans and test cases against our software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA activities
- Document processes and procedures in managing the product and making sure best practices are always followed
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in developing automation test scripts using Selenium
- Good knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts and solid in core Java skills
- Working knowledge in Database and API testing
- Understanding of DevOps tools like GitHub and Jenkins
- Understanding of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Good understanding on Cucumber, Gherkin
- Basic understanding of AI
- Proven ability to update or enhance automation framework as per the design
- Proven ability to take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis
- Proven ability to collaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall program

- Understanding of Selenium frameworks
