A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Senior Quality assurance Engineer at MKS ATOTECH Poland, you will partner with our quality assurance engineering time to ensuring quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing. In this role, you will report to the Lead of DFS development.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Planning and organization the testing process.
- Analysis and testing of the requirements, product usability analysis and improvement together with UX specialist.
- Support the full cycle of defect tracking and management.
- Prepare and run demo sessions.
- Drive and support development team to achieve strategic goals.
- Coordinate with developers, Product owners and other team members to deliver high quality product.
- Keep up to date with modern testing strategies to improve product quality.
Skills You Bring:
- Engineering education in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or any relevant field.
- A strong and significant experience in software testing is mandatory for this role. We are also looking for experience in web application (front and back) testing, in docker or kubernetes microservices testing and in command line Linux.
- Strong knowledge of testing and quality assurance processes, planning and adjusting the existing process, understanding of test artifacts and their lifecycle (bug reports, test cases, quality report) understanding of testing methodology and understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent problem solving, leadership, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Full working proficiency in English.
Preferred Skills:
- Working proficiency in Russian.
- Understanding CI / CD processes, IOT, experience with Grafana, linux fundamentals, dockers, Kubernetes (k3s, k8s), HELM, MQTT, HTTP, UDP, TCP/IP.
- Experience with industrial automation.
- Deep root cause analysis of issues. Time series and relational databases
- ISTQB certificate
The role is hybrid or full onsite.
