What will you bring with you?
- Strong hands-on game QA experience, including development, release and post-launch support.

- Console certification/submission experience on at least one platform.
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with distributed and UK-based stakeholders.

Job responsibilities
- Plan and execute QA based on requirements, risks, priorities and project timelines.
- Review specifications to identify gaps, conflicts, edge cases and quality risks.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, integration, compatibility, platform and play testing, with exposure to performance, network, accessibility, age-rating and stress/soak testing.
- Validate builds and support BVT, Smoke, LKG, milestone, UAT and release testing.
- Investigate defects with developers to reproduce, diagnose and resolve issues; participate in bug triage, communicate risks and blockers, and provide QA input on release confidence.
- Act as QA point of contact for assigned areas and contribute to QA reporting, retrospectives and process improvement.
- Support mentoring, onboarding and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
- Work effectively under delivery pressure, manage competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements and timelines.
- Takes ownership of assigned areas, proactively investigates issues, identifies potential solutions and works collaboratively with the team to resolve them.
- Hands-on experience with PlayStation, Xbox and/or Nintendo Switch.
- Working knowledge of relevant console SDKs/GDKs, development environments, platform requirements and certification processes.
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5, Unity or proprietary/custom game engines.
- JIRA, Hansoft, Bugzilla or equivalent defect-tracking tools.
- Confluence, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
