As a member of the Online Cloud Team, this U.S. Markets Technology QA Engineer role will participate in the QA validation of Webservice/API testing in the cloud.The role is also responsible for helping enforce quality standards and best practices across the Online Cloud applications and ensure the timely delivery of high quality, business-critical solutions.

How You Will Contribute
- Represent Quality Engineering for the Online Cloud solutions (GCP is preferable).
- Partner with Online Cloud development team to validate products and features aligned to the Online Cloud roadmap using agreed technologies and tooling, working closely with other Cloud Tech Leads, Software Architects, and other QA Engineers.
- Take accountability for quality of the code and the effectiveness of the solution in production.
- Develop functional automation that leverages our knowledge of the Online Cloud ecosystem.
- Build advanced technical test cases that emphasize quality through automation and Continuous Integration.
- Adhere to quality assurance principles and testing strategies throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Plan and create quality automation testing strategies for the validation of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Prepare quality metrics and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing testing data points.
- Actively participate with the Online Cloud Team using an agile approach.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional technology teams using the Agile/SCRUM methodology.
- Communicate progress of test automation to leadership, including test automation metrics and the benefits delivered.
- Participate in quality assurance to ensure products are fit for purpose, meet regulation, and are performant.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years’ QA and test automation experience, including planning, framework design, script development and maintenance.
- A passion for quality engineering, high standards and cross-team collaborations.
- Experience of using a test driven approach to software engineering.
- Experience leading the testing of complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration, including one of the following build/deploy/version control tools: Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket/GitHub, OR Maven.
- Ability to run code locally.
- Knowledge of Pull Requests.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Webservices
- Up to date knowledge of new technologies and techniques including AI Prompt engineering
- Experience of automated tests, builds and deployment
- Excellent communication and English language skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams with Global teams
- Excellent organizational skills, demonstrated ability to prioritize and allocate work within team to support product releases.
