Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with experience working in Java to join our team. You will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our web services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable web services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
What you will do
- Collaborate with product managers, scrum team members, and architects to implement QA testing strategy.
- Design, develop, and maintain software automation test suites, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and performance benchmark.
- Leverage automation to allow better reliability and scalability.
- Create and execute manual testing procedures to validate data quality through well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Plan, develop, and execute test coverage for multiple platforms.
- Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer issues.
- Propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive technical innovation within the team.
- Understand compliance standards and ensure deliverables meet industry expectations.
- Develop a deep understanding of PKI products, architecture, and systems.
What you will have
- 5+ years of professional experience in a software quality assurance or development role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in the Java programming languages and testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Serenity, TestNG, Cucumber, Selenium, or equivalent.
- Knowledge and strong grasp of software testing methodologies such as unit, integration, system, acceptance, performance, usability, etc.
- Expertise consuming, documenting, and developing software automation test for RESTful web services
- Knowledge and understanding of best REST practices.
- Experience in test planning, test design and execution, performance and stress testing, and implementing and maintaining quality test automation.
- Experience debugging web applications
- Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL/non-relational databases.
- Proficiency in containerization with Docker and expertise in container orchestration utilizing Kubernetes and Helm.
- Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and address complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience testing cloud native applications, services-based architecture, DevOps principles and continuous deployment.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with Javascript programming languages and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angluar) and testing frameworks (Jest, Puppeteer, MochaJS, Jasmine, etc.)
