At Anchanto, we’re on a mission to simplify and scale eCommerce operations for businesses globally. Our SaaS platforms power seamless integrations across marketplaces, logistics providers, and enterprise systems.
With teams across Singapore, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and beyond, we’re growing fast — and now expanding our Quality Engineering team in Pune City.
Role Overview
We are looking for engineers who have strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities across APIs, integrations, middleware systems, logs, and production environments within fast-paced enterprise SaaS ecosystems.
The ideal candidate should also enjoy solving real-world problems through integrations and automation — connecting systems, validating seamless data movement, and building scalable test frameworks.
The candidate should have 5–8 years of experience in Integration Testing, System Testing, Non-Functional Testing (NFR), and Automation Engineering, along with 1–2 years of test framework development or software development experience using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone passionate about building modern automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.), architecting scalable quality engineering solutions, and driving intelligent automation across enterprise SaaS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
What You Will Do
- Master the end-to-end business logic of our SaaS platform and translate complex functional requirements (FSDs) into high-fidelity automated test scenarios reflecting real-world customer flows.
- Enhance and manage test automation suites validating integrations between our SaaS platform and external systems (marketplaces, logistics, ERP).
- Design and develop automated test scripts validating scalable backend services.
- Validate APIs and data exchange systems (REST, messaging).
- Build and scale an automation-first testing suite using Playwright/TypeScript, leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate automation development and improve engineering productivity.
- Integrate testing with observability tools (New Relic, Datadog) to analyze production logs and environment data, driving “Shift-Right” validation and simulating actual user behaviors.
- Implement self-healing mechanisms within the automation repository and lead NFR automation (Performance, Security, API reliability) to ensure production readiness.
- Own the integration of automated test suites into Jenkins/GitHub Actions pipelines, ensuring quality gates are triggered at every commit to prevent defect leakage.
- Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers, upskilling them in AI-prompt engineering and modern “Quality as Code” practices.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Strong hands-on experience with Integration and End-to-End testing.
- Experience validating messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Strong understanding of API integrations and data formats (JSON, XML).
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML).
- Hands-on experience using Generative AI for test data generation, automated PR reviews, and script refactoring.
- Ability to query and interpret logs from New Relic, Splunk, or Datadog to identify root causes and edge cases.
