Responsibilities
- Create detailed and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Develop and implement automated tests to improve testing efficiency.
- Record and track bugs, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
- Conduct system-level tests to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Evaluate and enhance system security measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of testing phases and identified defects.
- Continuously refine and enhance QA processes and methodologies.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years in QA, ideally with video management systems.
Skills
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTSP).
- Proficient in network configuration and troubleshooting for video streaming.
- Knowledge of network security, including VPNs and firewall configurations.
- Proficient with tools like Selenium, Appium, or custom frameworks.
- Experience in scripting for automation using Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
- Familiarity with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
- Experience setting up end-to-end test environments, including software applications and hardware (e.g., cameras, DVRs, networking equipment).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and isolating issues across hardware and software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with complex video system networks.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers in advanced testing techniques.
