Senior Proposal Engineer

Role

As the proposal specialist, you will be responsible for the management of the Proposals within our Engineered Spare Parts and Upgrades & Rebuilds business.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of detailed technical Proposal documents for both engineered spare parts and Upgrades/ Rebuilds/ Exchange
• Application knowledge for various minerals and the ability to read drawings 
• Equipment sizing for various mineral applications
• Preparation of standard templates and bill of materials of products on a need basis
• Tender document review & listing comments/ deviations 
• Knowledge of costing/estimation will be an added advantage
• Travel to client's offices/ mine sites may be required for meetings with clients (as & when required)
• Plan & coordinate technical inputs with the Sales team to meet the proposal schedules (both global & domestic assignments)
• Closely work with Global Service Line Managers, Engineering, Product Line Management teams, Purchase, and Estimation teams to complete proposals 

What you bring

• Bachelor’s Engineering degree

• 4 to 8 years of experience in handling grinding, crushing, filtration, and thickening Products/equipment, preferably in the Mineral industry.

• Ability to interpret the requirement & select the equipment

• Should have basic knowledge of proposal flow process for both domestic & global environments, including equipment sizing, bill of materials, proposal documentation, etc.

• Knowledge of International Codes & Standards

• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal and global teams 

• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with Global & Domestic teams

• Ability to work remotely if and when required 

• Business drivers with a practical approach will be important 

• Willingness to complete tasks on time without compromising on processes 

• Ability to read the engineering drawings, including Bill of materials/ parts lists
