Job Description🚢 Joint Project Manager – Ship lift Programme
This programme will lead the delivery of critical upgrade and maintenance works for the client's ship lift, a key facility supporting the UK's submarine fleet. ⚓
🔹 What You'll Do
- 📅 Lead the planning, delivery, and completion of a complex engineering upgrade and maintenance programme.
- 💷 Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- 📊 Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and performance reporting.
- 🤝 Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, including MoD, Babcock Marine, specialist contractors, and site management teams.
- 📈 Provide project governance, progress updates, financial reporting, and risk management.
- ⚠️ Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- 🛡️ Ensure compliance with defence, health & safety, environmental, and security requirements.
- ✅ Support audits, assurance activities, and quality control processes.
