Summary
Responsible for the Project management of Cardinal Health products at Contract Manufacturing (CM) and Private brand (PB) sites.
Responsibilities
- Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
- Build project work plans and execute projects in accordance with project management (PM) system, processes, and PM methodologies
- Manage and align Manufacturers to project and process deliverables and schedules
- Responsible for executing, controlling, monitoring, and delivering the projects
- Identify risks and critical paths in projects and work with team members to provide mitigation and/or backup plans
- Ensure timely update, accuracy, and consistency of project information in system and reports
- Escalate issues and critical paths in a timely manner
- Support process validations for production processes, equipment and support systems
- Manage change development process with cross-functional team
- Encourage teamwork and foster collaboration across functional departments
- Track and maintain completion of project/process documents
- Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and procedures
- Discuss technicalities and review engineering data with suppliers and project team
- Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
- Works on or lead complex projects of large scope
- Acts as a mentor to less experienced project managers
Requirements
- Degree holder with at least 10 years of relevant experience in Medical Device industry, or similar industry, managing a portfolio of engineering projects
- Extensive knowledge of APAC contract manufacturing and supplier management
- Ability to interpret and understand technical or engineering documents and drawings
- Experience with Make-or-Buy Analysis
- Proven experience in budget and resource management
- Strong communication skills across all levels
- Strong time management skills with proven ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Experience in managing confrontation and conflicts
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environment
- Good exposure to cultural diversity and the ability to navigate in a complex matrix organization
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software, especially MS Project
- Experience in healthcare or medical products will be an added advantage
- PMP certification is a plus
- International travel required (Approximately 30%)
