Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team based in Solihull. Location: Solihull, West Midlands We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of high-value, complex construction projects. You'll oversee project teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is an opportunity to make a real impact whilst supporting and developing others. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the Operations team. Your day-to-day will include: Leading projects from tender stage through to successful completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget Managing and mentoring site teams, providing guidance and support to help them perform at their best Building excellent working relationships with clients, acting as their key point of contact Overseeing project budgets, programmes, and performance, keeping stakeholders informed of progress Identifying solutions to technical and logistical challenges, ensuring quality standards are met What are we looking for? This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if: You have substantial experience leading high-value construction projects from pre-construction to delivery You're skilled at managing project budgets, programmes, and teams effectively You have strong communication skills and can build collaborative relationships at all levels You possess expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions You hold a relevant construction qualification (degree level or equivalent) and professional membership (e.g. CIOB/ICE) We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferable skills are always welcome!
