Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex Business Support Systems (BSS) transformation and delivery programs within a telecommunications environment. The role is responsible for end-to-end management of large-scale BSS initiatives, including billing, CRM, product catalog, order management, charging, customer lifecycle, and digital channels, working across business and technology teams. You will act as the primary owner of delivery, governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex telecom BSS programs from initiation to go-live and hypercare
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks across multiple workstreams
- Act as the primary interface between business, IT, vendors, and system integrators
- Oversee delivery of billing, CRM, order management, product catalog, and charging solutions
- Establish and run project governance, executive reporting, and steering committees
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and issues
- Ensure quality through UAT, cutover planning, and production readiness
- Drive vendor performance and contractual milestone delivery
- Support Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models as required
Skills and Experience
- 8–12+ years of project management experience in telecommunications
- 5+ years delivering large-scale BSS programs
- Proven experience managing system integrators and offshore delivery teams
- Track record of successful billing or CRM transformations is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of telecom BSS architectures and integrations
- Experience with leading BSS platforms (e.g. Amdocs, Netcracker, Ericsson, Oracle, Salesforce, Zuora, etc.)
- Familiarity with OSS/BSS integration points and APIs
- Knowledge of data migration, legacy decommissioning, and cutover planning
- Expert in project planning, financial control, RAID management, and reporting
- Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
Education
- A degree in a relative field
