Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager (Design) to join our Data Center Asia-Pacific (APAC) team.  

In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic design of data center facilities and technical solutions that meet the complex business needs of our colocation customers throughout the Asia-Pacific region. You will join our Design and Construction team, serving as the primary interface for developing innovative proposals for both new greenfield and existing brownfield data center projects.  

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage third-party architectural and engineering teams to deliver conceptual and schematic data center designs that align with Iron Mountain standards, construction budgets, and rigorous schedule requirements.  

  • Collaborate with Global Accounts, Solutions Engineering, and external partners—including developers and equipment manufacturers—to develop technical solutions for new business opportunities.  

  • Ensure compliance with critical infrastructure standards by providing comprehensive project oversight, including budget forecasting, technical analysis of architectures, and site evaluations.  

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least ten years of experience in design and construction project delivery, including a minimum of five years in a leadership role managing project management teams.  

  • Strong knowledge of complex electrical, mechanical, life safety, and control systems specifically associated with critical facilities or data centers.  

  • Proven ability in managing relationships with global suppliers and internal stakeholders while navigating a role that requires a minimum of 50% international travel.  

  • A four-year college degree (required), with a Master’s degree or a Professional Engineering license highly preferred.
