We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in agile methodologies and application development to lead our technical projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our software development projects, maintaining high standards of software quality, and delivering value to our clients.

Responsibilities: 

  • Actively participate in requirement gathering and requirement analysis process and create business requirement documents to drive clarity.
  • Work with Product Managers & Executives to prioritize projects across the organization based on company goals and objectives.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of application of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, including requirements definition, stakeholder feedback, development, and deployment.
  • Lead a cross-functional team in a matrixed organization for successful, on-time delivery.
  • Think out-of-the-box in optimizing delivery practices, resources, and key performance factors to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide expert knowledge of Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, and iterative project management methodologies.
  • Understanding of latest cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options.
  • Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability and Availability.
  • Preparing, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project or sub project according to contractual scope and commitment against project budget.
  • Own and manage the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for all Critical Incidents, ensuring all corrective and preventive actions are progressed towards permanent resolution.
  • Project Estimation, Planning, Monitoring and Status Reporting.



Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in managing complex software development projects using Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak to technical-level staff and summarize communications for business stakeholders and executives.
  • Prior experience of managing web, mobile, IoT projects.
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Sharepoint, and MS Project
  • Knowledge of Big data, Analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQl Server
  • Knowledge of AS400, Blue Yonder, Azure, or Reporting
  • Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems is a plus.
  • Proven track record of delivering software projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Identify opportunities/gaps to drive new projects, drive discussions with stakeholders to build required collateral to seek funding for new projects
  • Identify opportunities to expand business.
