The Client Implementation team manages the delivery of complex solutions and services to Equifax’ business customers in Australia and New Zealand. This includes both the delivery of products and services as well as on-boarding clients and data-providers.
Delivery projects typically require the configuration of multiple Equifax products and services, and the integration of those products and services into the customer’s systems and business processes. Client Implementation projects can run for three to 12 months and require the engagement of various parties and teams within Equifax and the customer. The projects can be high-profile engagements and can require a high-level of stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skill.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring and managing several large or medium sized projects and programs often with challenging components. Projects may leverage existing known or standard delivery methodologies. You will be required to secure required resources, use formal processes, tools and methodologies to manage project resources, budgets, risks and changes. You will also be required to author project finances, detailed project Gantt charts, project management plans, status reports and executive briefings. You may be asked to give or attend steering committee presentations to senior stakeholders and will be our primary point of contact with senior members of our strategic and high value customers. You will be required to contribute to the enhancement of our delivery methodology by submitting improvement ideas and collaborating with peers to deliver on improvement ideas.
What you’ll do
Leadership
Provide training, coaching and guidance to junior team members as needed.
Take on delegated leadership responsibilities as and when required
Present to wider team on project learnings
Leverage skills to manage or contribute to practice management
Project Management
Manage all aspects of a large or medium sized customer facing or internal project or a program of work
Assemble project team(s), identify appropriate resources needed, assign responsibilities and develop plans/schedule to ensure timely completion of the project or program as per the scope of work
Identify critical capabilities, critical path issues, manage budgets, generate appropriate reports and collaterals for the project
Ensure project/program activities, timelines and budgets are met
Negotiate where needed and drive remediation discussions for any identified risks or issues
Establish clear cut project governance and maintain regular timely written and verbal communication with project stakeholders
Leverage project management methodology and expertise for project planning, resource management, system / technology / validation, testing and implementation planning
Stakeholder Management
Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and Equifax internal stakeholder
Clear setting and management of goals and expectations
Liaise with project sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure the project is completed and meets business requirements.
Knowledge Management
Contribute to team knowledgebase
Continuous improvement and enhancement of the Client Implementation team methodology and process standards
Present project learning to the wider team
Lead team knowledge management sessions
What experience you need
Over 5 year’s experience in Project Management
Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex projects with multiple work streams successfully
Demonstrated ability to coach & train junior staff
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with presentation experience
Ability to translate technical messages to a non-technical business audience
Professional services contract/statement of work drafting/negotiation
Delivery of software solutions
