Role: Senior Project Manager
Location: Walker, MI – Hybrid/Onsite (2-3x/week)
About the role:
OLIVER is partnering with BISSELL to build a world-class in-house agency, optimizing project management and creative operations. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the coordination, execution, and delivery of marketing and creative projects across multiple channels, including photo, video, digital, social, print, CRM, and POP. This role requires a highly organized and strategic project leader with the ability to manage workflow systems, oversee project managers, and drive operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and Marketing teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards. As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee and direct project managers on their day-to-day responsibilities. Additionally, you will explore GenAI tools to enhance workflow automation, resource allocation, and process efficiencies. What you will be doing:
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from client intake to final execution.
- Review all project requests, assign tasks, and develop detailed project schedules.
- Maintain and optimize workflow systems, ensuring smooth project tracking and communication.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and client teams, providing regular project updates.
- Identify and troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks, implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
- Ensure all deliverables align with brand guidelines, marketing objectives, and client expectations.
- Develop and manage timing plans and estimates using internal tracking systems.
- Assign and balance workloads among project managers and creative teams.
- Oversee junior project managers, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Monitor studio team operations, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Maintain a deep understanding of team capacity and resource availability, optimizing efficiency.
- Support cross-functional collaboration, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, managing expectations effectively.
- Gather structured client feedback and incorporate insights into project improvements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and ongoing collaboration.
- Provide project reporting and performance updates to senior leadership.
- Document and help to resolve blockers, gaps in processes and pursue resolutions, and share results with management and cross-functional teams.
- Implement process improvements to optimize project turnaround and reduce inefficiencies.
- Utilize GenAI tools for workflow automation, content tracking, and reporting.
- Monitor industry trends and project management best practices, integrating new strategies where applicable.
What you need to be great in this role:
- 6+ years of experience in project management, account management, or operations within an advertising, marketing, or creative agency.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Workfront, Monday, Wrike, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze project briefs and align execution with business goals.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with workflow system maintenance, process optimization, and KPI tracking.
- A problem-solving mindset, able to anticipate and mitigate risks before they impact project success.
- Interest in AI-driven project automation tools, exploring how GenAI can enhance workflow efficiencies.
- Experience working in a consumer product marketing or eCommerce environment.
- Background in retail, shopper marketing, or omnichannel content production.
- Experience with digital asset management platforms and content version control.
- Data analysis skills, using reporting insights to improve project efficiency and team productivity.
- Understanding of negotiation and stakeholder management strategies, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Mac OS.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex projects with precision, efficiency, and creativity.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor project managers and staff to foster a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Manage performance evaluations and development plans.
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $85,000.00 to $95,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
