Position Summary
As a Senior Project Manager in our SaaS environment, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects tailored for the automotive industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects meet client needs, are completed on time, and align with our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Lead project execution from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope.
· Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for clients, internal stakeholders and third parties. Facilitate communication and manage expectations to ensure project alignment with business goals.
· Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
· Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
· Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress using relevant metrics and tools. Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and adapt project plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications. Implement best practices in project management and software development.
· Develop Process, focusing on continuous improvement: Develop processes and identify process enhancements.
· Backlog Management: Manage contract backlog to revenue goals. Claims contract lines in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley guidelines.
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
· PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
· 5+ years of project management experience in a SaaS environment, preferably within the automotive industry.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships cross-functionally at all levels.
· Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
· Proven experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balance competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and collaborative platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, Salesforce, MS Teams).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
· Data analysis and visualization skills including dashboard creation (e.g. Power BI).
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
