Senior Project Manager

Role purpose

As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. You will work closely with management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for One Tier-1 Client Airline project as well as additional mini projects for migrations or analysis
• Facilitate the definition of software project missions, goals, tasks and resource requirements.

• Determine how results will be measured and complete a post project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved. 

• Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms 

• Proactively manage the customer and needs by providing realistic expectations; establish specific customer satisfaction standards and actively monitor against company resources by following the PMP. 

• Manage project budget and resource requests.

• Designing risk mitigation plan 

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

• Experience with Project Management Tools (Jira, Confluence)

• Experience working in Agile Methodology 

• 5-7 years’ work experience in project management 
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credentials are a plus.

• Experience in the Airline industry will be a plus.

• Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
