Job Description
BAE Systems Intelligence & Security Division is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a U.S. Marine Corps intelligence program in Quantico, Virginia. This full-time, on-site role will lead day-to-day program execution and serve as BAE Systems' primary interface with the government customer.
The Senior Project Manager will provide direct leadership and management support to intelligence analysts performing complex GEOINT production, research, and time-sensitive mission support. The successful candidate will manage task-order performance, staffing, schedules, deliverables, technical and operational risks, customer communications, personnel readiness, and administrative coordination. This role requires sound judgment, strong customer engagement, and the ability to lead independently in a fast-paced mission environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of assigned task orders and ensure all technical, schedule, quality, and performance requirements are met.
  • Serve as the primary on-site interface and trusted advisor to the Contracting Officer's Representative, technical points of contact, government site and program leadership, and BAE Systems senior management.
  • Direct and support intelligence professionals performing complex analysis, production, research, and knowledge-management activities.
  • Monitor, control, and report technical progress, milestones, issues, risks, corrective actions, and other areas requiring leadership attention.
  • Maintain accurate staffing plans and coordinate personnel coverage, qualifications, travel, leave, facility access, and other operational requirements.
  • Coordinate and track personnel, mission resources, and assigned assets to meet changing customer priorities.
  • Review analytic products for clear reasoning, applicable tradecraft standards, adequate support for conclusions, and overall analytic rigor.
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and evaluate research approaches that strengthen the quality and relevance of team outputs.
  • Assess analytic operations and knowledge-management issues across organizational and Intelligence Community boundaries and clearly communicate key findings.
  • Facilitate meetings, information exchange, and timely decisions among customer, program, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure assigned personnel meet or exceed contractual qualifications and maintain required clearances and accesses.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant management experience, including relevant experience within the past two years.
  • Demonstrated experience leading programs, projects, or teams supporting intelligence or national security missions.
  • Experience managing task-order requirements, staffing, schedules, deliverables, risks, issues, and performance reporting.
  • Experience coordinating with government customers, technical teams, and contractor leadership across organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

Education
  • Master's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or a bachelor's degree related to the labor category from an accredited college or university plus five additional years of related senior-level experience, for a total of 17 years, in place of the master's degree.

Required Skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and awareness of developments that affect analytic tradecraft.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive research approaches that support rigorous assessments and high-level mission requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of analytic operations and knowledge management within complex intelligence environments.
  • Ability to evaluate analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft compliance, and adequate support for conclusions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Additional Requirements
  • Must currently possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Must be able to work full time on site in Quantico, Virginia.
  • Travel is expected to be less than 10 percent.
  • U.S. Person required.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
