- Lead projects from start to finish, including buyout, construction, and closeout
- Manage project schedule, budget, quality, and profitability
- Lead and mentor PMs, APMs, and Project Engineers
- Manage major equipment purchases and specialty subcontractors
- Oversee BIM coordination and prefabrication
- Work closely with field teams to keep construction on schedule
- Manage change orders, forecasting, billing, and project costs
- Build strong relationships with clients and general contractors
- Oversee commissioning, punch lists, inspections, and project closeout
- Identify project risks early and develop solutions
Qualifications
- 10–15+ years of mechanical/plumbing construction project management experience
- Experience leading $30M+ MEP projects
- Strong commercial or industrial construction background
- Deep knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, and other MEP systems
- Experience managing project teams and developing junior staff
- Strong financial and change-order management skills
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with Navisworks, Revit, P6, or MS Project
- Field/trade background such as plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC mechanic is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent senior-level construction or trade experience will be considered
