Uniphar is embarking on an ambitious, multiyear transformation programme and is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of technology and software driven initiatives that underpin our modernisation agenda. Working closely with engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders, the Technical Project Manager will ensure technical workstreams are well-planned, integrated, and governed. Success in the role will be measured through the effective delivery of technical outcomes, improved alignment between business and technology teams, and stronger confidence in the delivery of engineering led change across the portfolio.
ResponsibilitiesA. Delivery & Planning
- Lead the delivery of complex, Multi workstream, or strategically significant projects.
- Shape delivery approaches and advise sponsors on delivery models.
- Oversee project plans, budgets, resource strategies, and baselines.
- Lead software delivery across multiple engineering teams or platforms.
- Ensure technical strategy, architecture decisions, and engineering plans are aligned across teams.
- Resolve high impact technical & business constraints, dependencies, and risks involving multiple systems or domains.
B. Governance, Reporting & Control
- Drive high-quality governance and proactively manage escalations.
- Lead preparation for stage gates and health checks.
- Mentor PMs on governance and risk practices.
- Provide delivery leadership in technical design forums and technical governance circles.
- Ensure cross platform environment, migration, and release alignment.
C. Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement
- Influence senior stakeholders, sponsors, and steering groups.
- Facilitate cross functional alignment across business and technical teams.
- Lead complex stakeholder negotiations.
- Act as delivery lead across architecture, engineering, security, and product disciplines.
D. Business Readiness, Testing & Operational Transition
- Ensure readiness, testing, and transition workstreams are integrated and resourced.
- Oversee readiness and UAT governance for high impact changes.
- Lead release readiness governance, ensuring engineering, QA, and platform teams are aligned for deployment.
- Oversee cross programme technical testing and integration cycles.
E. Delivery Integration & Dependency Management
- Manage interdependencies across multiple projects or platforms.
- Input into portfolio prioritisation and sequencing.
- Manage technical system interactions, integration patterns, shared platforms, and environment contention.
F. Vendor, Integrator & Partner Leadership
- Lead vendor strategy and performance across multiple suppliers and technical domains.
- Coordinate system integrators, engineering contractors, SaaS vendors, and platform partners.
- Drive commercial clarity and senior-level escalation management.
G. Continuous Improvement, Coaching & Capability Development
- Drive improvements in PMO frameworks and delivery standards.
- Coach PMs and SPMs.
- Support uplift in SDLC maturity, DevOps adoption, automation practices, and engineering delivery discipline.

- Extensive governance, reporting, and assurance experience.
- Professional PM certifications strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and delivery tools.
- Significant experience delivering software platforms, cloud transformations, integrations, APIs, or multisystem migrations.
- Experience coordinating distributed engineering teams and resolving complex technical dependencies.
- Experience overseeing multi-vendor engineering ecosystems and system integrators.
