Job Overview
The Sr. Project Manager, Strategy, supports AltaMed’s performance of strategic and enterprise projects, managing large and complex programs and projects aligned with AltaMed’s Enterprise Strategic Plan. In addition, this role supports the organization’s annual strategic planning process, with the aim of improving patient health outcomes and business results. The Strategy Project Manager is part of the division of Strategic Project Management within AltaMed’s Strategy Department. This role is responsible for effective planning, managing, and implementing highly visible projects that will improve enterprise infrastructure and promote service integration of AltaMed’s organization. This role partners with senior leadership, management, key leaders and external organizations to identify project requirements and strategic initiatives/special projects. This is followed by the execution of the prioritized strategy(s), while supportively identifying and addressing improvement opportunities. This role impacts growing the foundation of project management, change management and performance improvement methodologies throughout the organization, by exemplifying, coaching/consulting and delivering projects with attention to the stakeholders it impacts. Projects assigned are broad in scope with significant financial, process, information systems and organizational impacts and may involve multiple affiliates, vendors, regions, business lines and/or functions/disciplines. This position will support the department’s effort to institutionalize project management skills and associated lean/design processes throughout AltaMed, including clinical sites with the aims of improving patient health outcomes and business results.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience required in project management and data analysis and includes successful deployment demonstrating measurable positive results.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in process reengineering, organizational design and/or change management experience.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare processes and/or related health information technology.

Demonstration of mentoring and training experience.

2 year experience in business/consulting with a major firm or demonstration of multiple end- to-end systems installations, migration and upgrade projects.

Project Manager Profession (PMP) certified and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certified.

Certification in change management or other design related methodologies.

Extended levels of certifications listed may be accepted in consideration of another. If experience shows qualified, but PMP certification is not in hand at time of application, it must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
Compensation
$115,099.60 - $143,874.50 annually

The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization.
