The Business Operations Coordinator supports departmental programs and projects, manages administrative tasks, and fosters communication with stakeholders.

Provides medical services to AltaMed patients through team-based, population-health-focused care. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based medicine, coordinating integrated care, using appropriate resources, documenting services in computer-based or electronic medical record systems, and meeting licensure, board certification, malpractice coverage, and BLS certification requirements.

Provides comprehensive primary care to PACE participants across centers, homes, virtual consultations, and skilled nursing facilities. Manages a participant panel, promotes wellness, prevents illness, coordinates specialty and interdisciplinary care, and ensures regulatory-compliant, patient-centered treatment for older adults.

Provides senior-level Epic Willow Ambulatory and pharmacy systems leadership across healthcare operations. Oversees system planning, configuration, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, training, policies, and workflow improvements. The Epic Willow Analyst III provides specialized support for pharmacy staff, oversees system implementations, and educates staff on the Epic Willow system.

Provides comprehensive case management and outreach services to youth, including interviewing, counseling, assessments, mentoring, caseload organization, and program activities. The role supports underserved communities, manages assigned cases, and may oversee or mentor department members and volunteers.

Leads a prospect development department supporting philanthropic growth through prospect research, predictive capacity modeling, portfolio optimization, due diligence, donor identification, metrics, projections, and executive business intelligence. Manages complex, multi-year arts initiatives, including exhibitions, conservation projects, museum development, art loans, acquisitions, donor events, and public programming. Coordinates executives, curatorial leaders, stakeholders, vendors, contracts, logistics, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional execution. Builds operational processes and serves as the central communications and administrative hub for scaling AltaMed’s arts program.

The Curator researches, acquires, interprets, exhibits, and shares AltaMed’s approximately 3,000-piece art collection across various media. The role requires an accomplished professional with experience in museums, galleries, or visual arts organizations, including artwork and archival material acquisitions, scholarly publications, exhibitions, and other professional contributions.

Schedules urgent, routine, and follow-up specialty appointments for authorized services. Coordinates with interdisciplinary teams, participants, primary care physicians, PACE staff, specialty providers, and utilization management to ensure timely access to care. Manages referrals and authorizations, meets scheduling turnaround objectives, and advocates for participants’ specialty-care needs.

Provides comprehensive neurological specialty care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of brain, spinal cord, nerve, and muscle disorders. Treats conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, migraine, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy, and dementia. Collaborates with primary care, specialty, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, improve access, maintain continuity, and achieve high-quality patient outcomes.

Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, gout, and osteoporosis. Provide biologic therapies and infusion management while collaborating with primary care, specialty, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care, continuity, timely access, and high-quality outcomes.

Provides personal care and assists with activities of daily living for PACE participants at home or in the PACE Center. Under licensed physical or occupational therapist supervision, supports treatment plans for physical, mental, and occupational disabilities, injuries, and illnesses. Helps restore and maintain functional capabilities while delivering quality care and an exceptional experience to frail elderly and disabled patients.

Provides primary care to pediatric patients, including diagnosing, treating, and preventing childhood diseases and injuries. Requires a California medical license, board certification or eligibility, malpractice-insurance qualifications, computer-based systems experience, and current BLS certification. Leadership skills, electronic medical records experience, and bilingual abilities are preferred.

Coordinates specialty referrals by entering requests into appropriate portals, following up on referrals, and coordinating urgent care. Serves as a liaison among patients, providers, utilization management, and internal departments to ensure timely access to specialty services.

Supports organization-wide staff scheduling and coordination across multiple departments. Monitors staffing levels, communicates shift changes and coverage updates, helps optimize workforce efficiency, ensures compliance with labor policies, and supports consistent operations and scheduling system rollouts. The role requires a high school diploma and preferably one year of staffing office or comparable office experience, healthcare experience, and bilingual language skills.

Provides peer support services to outpatient clients recovering from substance use and mental health challenges. Collaborates with clients to establish treatment goals, promotes wellness and recovery, advocates for client needs, and applies psychiatric rehabilitation, addiction recovery, trauma-informed, and evidence-based practices. Participates in multidisciplinary projects and relevant mental health or substance use treatment workshops.

Provides obstetrics and gynecology care to AltaMed patients within a team-based, evidence-based care model. Manages a clinic patient panel, supports population health and patient outcomes, participates in cross-coverage, peer review, provider meetings, continuing medical education, and collaborates with medical leadership and the broader care team.

Manages and executes operational excellence initiatives across PACE programs and health services clinics. Leads cross-functional process improvement, workflow redesign, risk and control monitoring, feasibility assessments, change management, and post-implementation reviews. Designs programs, measures effectiveness, initiates corrective actions, facilitates communication, and ensures projects support organizational strategic goals.
