The Role
Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic customer quantum programs from contract signature to operational success. Ensure on-time, on-budget, on-target execution, high customer satisfaction (NPS), risk and change control, alignment with R&D/engineering, and protection/expansion of revenue through disciplined scope and stakeholder management.
Summary Generated by Built In
Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems.
The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit 🐈‍⬛. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously!

We're a diverse team of 200+ brilliant minds from over 30 countries united by a single goal: to revolutionise computing with a practical fault-tolerant quantum machine. Are you ready to take on unprecedented challenges and contribute to revolutionising technology? Join us, and let's shape the future of quantum computing together!

In a context of rapidly evolving quantum computing technology transitioning toward scalable industrial deployment, and growing commercial traction, the Senior Project Manager – Customer-Facing Quantum Computing Programs is accountable for the successful delivery of strategic customer programs, ensuring measurable customer value, delivery excellence, and revenue protection.
Reporting to the VP of Business & Revenue, you will work closely with Sales, TAM, Account Management, R&D and Engineering teams to secure On Time / On Budget / On Target execution, high customer satisfaction (NPS-driven), and long-term revenue expansion.

Main Responsibilities
1. Own end-to-end customer program delivery
Own end-to-end customer program delivery by leading the process from contract signature to operational success. Act as the primary customer interface for planning, execution, and escalations, while ensuring that contractual commitments, milestones, and deliverables are met.
2. Drive delivery excellence (On Time / On Budget / On Target)
Drive delivery excellence—ensuring programs are delivered on time, on budget, and on target—by planning, executing, and controlling complex quantum computing initiatives. This includes monitoring schedule adherence, cost control, margin exposure, and key performance indicators (KPIs), while managing risks, change requests, scope evolution, and trade-offs in a structured and controlled manner.
3. Secure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Secure customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships by consistently measuring and improving customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) throughout the program lifecycle. Proactively anticipate and mitigate risks that could impact customer perception, while translating complex technical constraints into clear, customer-oriented communication.
4. Interface with R&D & Engineering in a deeptech environment
Interface with R&D and engineering teams in a deeptech environment by translating customer needs into actionable inputs. Ensure alignment between delivery commitments and technical feasibility, while managing expectations between customers and internal teams—even under conditions of technological uncertainty.
5. Protect and expand revenue impact
Protect and expand revenue impact by ensuring disciplined control over scope and execution to safeguard contracted revenue. Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to identify upsell, extension, and follow-on opportunities, while contributing to forecasting, revenue recognition, and delivery-related business reviews.
