Job Description

Summary:

The China Operations department is the primary point of contact between Accuray and its Joint Venture (JV) in China - CNNC Accuray (Tianjin) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. ("CAMT") for many operational aspects of the business. Its mission is to drive and support increased cooperation and efficiency across many teams and initiatives. The work of this position is focused on maximizing total global business benefit for Accuray and CAMT in both the near and long term. We assist in strategic business analysis and support the implementation of related activities.

The Senior Project Manager facilitates communication and enables collaboration with a wide range of teams across functions, cultures, and time zones. This individual will support the planning, scheduling, and implementation of various activities and initiatives involving multiple departments in service of the Joint Venture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with a wide range of teams across functions, cultures, and time zones to facilitate communications and enable collaboration
  • Support planning, scheduling, and implementation of various activities and initiatives
  • Collaborate with many departments, including but not limited to: Supply Chain, Logistics, Service, Production, QA, and Training
  • Oversee, track, and report on complex and quickly evolving issues
  • Manage stakeholders' interactions and expectations by continually communicating and monitoring of exchange of information
  • Maintain and drive the expansion of cooperation between all stakeholders for joint process and product improvements
  • Flexible work hours will be required due to time zone differences



Qualifications:

a. Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of cross-functional collaborative work in a business setting
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of work involving complex technology
  • Minimum of 3 years of work involving engineering discipline, manufacturing, electrical, or hardware engineering preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Highly adaptable/flexible
  • Proven and highly effective in core critical competencies including Communications, Professional Presence, Self-Awareness, and Performance & Team Collaboration
  • Must also demonstrate high levels of Accountability, Engagement, strong Business Acumen/Financial Discipline, Being a Change Agent, and Decision Making.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Some international travel may be required
  • Remote work is available currently, however, the position will ultimately be located at our Madison, WI, site once pandemic restrictions ease



b. Preferred or Desired:

  • 10 years of cross-functional collaborative work in a business setting
  • 10 years of work involving complex technology
  • Mandarin (Chinese) language skills
  • International experience
  • Medical Device industry experience
