Senior Project Manager, Operations PMO

Job Description:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will work independently and apply the correct level of urgency to achieve a mutually accepted solution, all while providing exemplary customer service. You will have a strong drive to learn enterprise project management principles and concepts and how to apply that knowledge towards the successful implementation and delivery of projects.

This is a remote-friendly role reporting to the Transformation PMO Director, Americas Region. The Operational Excellence program manages the business transformation for Dentsu International.

Responsibilities:

• You will guide complex projects through the project management life cycle while keeping the project organized (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, closure).
• You will elicit and document technical and functional requirements and define project scope.
• You will develop and document project schedules, deliverables, and milestones through a detailed project plan.
• You will develop communication and change management plans to ensure successful project execution and benefits realization.
• You will identify, track and resolve risks and dependencies associated with projects; lead risk mitigation planning and communication to project sponsors/stakeholders; Escalate issues as defined in documented escalation procedures.
• You will coordinate the work of many project team members across multiple geographies, time zones, and departments
• You will manage stakeholder expectations.
• You will participate in overall PMO operations and evolution.
• You will provide Guidance and mentor more junior members of the PMO.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of project management experience delivering large, cross-functional projects.
• Make decisions and judgments based on standard procedures.
• Adapt to changing business conditions.
• Understand how projects align with the organization strategy to ground the project team and stakeholders in why the project is important.
• Organize and prioritize several projects and tasks.
• Proficiency using project management software programs such as MS Project/Planner, Workfront, or other tools; cater tools and approach on the given project or project team.
• Demonstrate advanced understanding of Project Management Concepts as defined by the Project management institute (PMI) and/or agile concepts and methodologies (Scrum Alliance).

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
