Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Senior Project Manager, Integrated Projects role. The Senior Project Manager, Integrated Projects own and lead the management and successful delivery of assigned projects. Act as a mentor for more junior members of staff that may be assigned to integrated project teams. Responsible for any type of project or client type for integrated/cross business unit projects, serving as advocate for both Catalent and Client. Promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job. Display an exceptionally high degree of independent judgment and analyses to complete the responsibilities of this position. This is a full-time position: Onsite. Monday – Friday, Days.

The Role
- Under own direction, manage and oversee the co-ordination of assigned projects from award stage to completion, ensuring correct planning timelines are generated, monitored and tracked to ensure successful adherence and completion
- Lead and manage client meetings/teleconferences/client visits and audits to understand full scope requirements, ensuring minutes and actions are taken and all required project documentation is generated by self or the Project Manager (PM)/ Project Coordinator (PC) team. Participate and lead as appropriate project meetings/teleconferences/client visits with other Business Units to understand full scope requirements, ensuring minutes and actions are taken and all required project documentation is generated by self or the PM/PC team
- Oversee PMs and PCs both on site and globally to ensure all aspects of a project set up, execution and closeout are managed effectively and on time. Ensure project consumption forecasts and any relevant information is provided by self and the PM team to support S&OP and client management
- Ensure collection of KPI data and appropriate analysis of data trends are completed both by site and globally, and appropriately communicated
- Assist with training and completion of training documentation both for site and global teams, relevant to cross business unit/integrated project requirements. Mentor PMs and PCs both on site and globally
- Accountable for financial elements of projects, including contract review, financial milestone management, budget tracking and oversight, and will support invoice query resolution and aged debt activities
- Proficient with JDE and will perform all project set up entries and tracking as required for all assigned projects; will also be responsible for marking financial milestones.
- Assist in preparation and regular review of Standing Operating Procedures relating to own areas of responsibility. Be proficient in the use of Workfront, compliant with all applicable metrics. Will support, and may lead and execute, continuous improvement initiatives within the integrated projects initiative
- Support BD to identify and introduce relevant business units to the clients. Work with site team to identify cross-selling opportunities. Support PMs and site teams to facilitate cross-BU and cross-functional project team meetings as appropriate. First point of escalation for site integrated projects. Create awareness/promote initiative across the business of the Catalent integrated offering
- All other duties as assigned;
The Candidate
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with at least three years of customer services experience; OR a High School Diploma with at least seven years of customer services experience
- Good Time Management/Organizational skills adopting a committed approach to providing a high level of customer service is required
- At least one year of prior sale experience highly preferred
- Professional Project Management Qualification preferred
- Experience leading the initiation of projects in a regulated industry is desired
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with internal and external customers, peers and managers.
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds;
