Roles and Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
Serve as the main point of contact for designated Extended Power Uprate customers for project execution of specific large contracts.
Manage all aspects of project management, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management.
Coordinate and align work across GE Vernova product lines as needed for project success.
Provide leadership and strategic oversight for project teams, ensuring projects are delivered within schedule and cost constraints.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and business policies.
Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to stakeholders.
Negotiate contract terms and manage change orders as needed to address project scope changes or non-standard events.
Mentor and guide junior project managers, sharing expertise and best practices.
Develop specialized knowledge in nuclear energy and stay updated on the latest technical developments in the field.
Use technical expertise for data analysis to support project decisions and recommendations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (equivalent experience/education will be considered, such as Senior Reactor Operator with project management experience).
Minimum 7 years of experience in Project Management.
Minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects.
PMP Certification
Demonstrated experience in the nuclear industry, with a solid understanding of nuclear project requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel (~15%) domestically and internationally to GE Vernova and customer locations.
Be based onsite in Wilmington NC
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $132,200.00 and $220,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
