As a Senior Project Manager Enabling Functions, your key objective is to successfully lead strategic transformation initiatives across Vanderlande's Enabling Functions. These initiatives may range from organizational and process transformations to technology-enabled projects in areas such as IT, Data, Digital and AI.
As part of the Strategy & Transformation Office, you will work at the heart of Vanderlande's transformation agenda, partnering with senior stakeholders across functions including IT, Finance, HR, Legal and Procurement.

What You Will Do
As a Senior Project Manager, you lead multidisciplinary transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business value across Enabling Functions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading complex transformation projects from business case through implementation and value realization.
- Managing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment between business, process, technology and change activities.
- Driving projects across a broad range of domains, including operating model improvements, process optimization, organizational change, IT implementations, Data & Analytics, and AI-enabled initiatives.
- Establishing project governance, planning, budgeting, risk management and reporting structures.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Managing project risks, dependencies and change impacts while ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timelines.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts, business leaders, IT teams and external partners to achieve project objectives.
- Providing clear and concise executive reporting and steering committee updates.
- Ensuring successful adoption of project outcomes and realization of intended business benefits.
What You Bring
To be successful in this role, you bring:
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Management, Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- A project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, SAFe or Lean.
- Approximately 8-12 years of relevant experience in project, program or transformation management.
- A proven track record of delivering complex business transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Experience working in consulting and/or leading transformation programs in a complex international environment.
- Affinity with technology-driven transformation, including IT, Data, Digital and AI-related initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a pragmatic delivery mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust across all organizational levels.
- Experience influencing senior leaders and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
- The ability to independently structure, manage and drive projects while maintaining focus on outcomes and value realization.
- Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Experience with project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Power BI and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%).
